Spheroidizing Agent

Nodulizing agent is an additive used in the process of nodular cast iron and vermicular cast iron. It is added to the molten iron to make the graphite in the molten iron solidified into spherical precipitation. In this process, the fine ore powder and concentrate are consolidated through smelting, sintering, granulation, or briquetting. Spheroidizing agent improves metallurgical performance and changes chemical composition of ore; It removes harmful impurities, such as sulfur and volatile gases, and increases reducibility. The use of spheroidizing agent increases the mechanical strength of the ore and makes the ore obtain a porous structure.
