Function of inoculant:
The mechanical properties of grey cast iron without inoculation treatment are low, the microstructure is unstable, and the thin wall of the casting is easy to appear white mouth. Therefore, in order to ensure the consistency of casting quality, inoculation treatment is an indispensable link.
